Navi Mumbai Corp seeks bids to boost water supply

The Navi Mumbai Municipal Corporation announced that a tender had been floated for the enhancement and expansion of the SCADA automation system for the Navi Mumbai Water Supply Scheme under the Amrut-2.0 Mission in Thane, Maharashtra.

According to the specifications, the successful bidder would be responsible for installing valves on the transmission main, as well as valves for existing ESR, GSR, and pumping stations, along with the automation system. This work was to be completed within a timeframe of 18 months, excluding the monsoon season. The installation and commissioning of the automation system encompassed various tasks such as constructing valve chambers, installing actuators, control and signal cables, power cables, software, video walls, PLC, and establishing monitoring centres at different ward levels and a central monitoring centre. The contract was valued at Rs 1.10 billion.

It was noted that the deadline for submitting bids is 30 April, 2024.
