Vishnu Prakash R Punglia Ltd. has announced the receipt of a significant letter of acceptance (LoA) from the Office of DYCE-C-BKN-ENGINEERING, North Western Railway, Bikaner. The contract, valued at ?908.9 million, encompasses a range of infrastructure works between Sadulpur and Churu as part of the Churu-Sadulpur Doubling Project.

The project involves extensive earthwork including filling and cutting in formation, blanketing, construction of minor bridges, low-height subways (LHS), foot overbridges (FOB), platforms and platform shelters, as well as S&T structures, cable ducting, and other ancillary tasks. The total cost for these works stands at ?908.9 million.

Vishnu Prakash R Punglia, an established engineering, procurement, and construction (EPC) firm, was chosen as the preferred contractor following a thorough evaluation and acceptance of their tender by the competent authority. The company has a robust portfolio of infrastructure projects for various governmental and private entities across nine states and one Union Territory in India.

Financially, the company has reported a strong performance for Q4 FY24, with standalone net profit soaring by 67.82% to ?671.3 million, alongside a 44.22% increase in revenue from operations compared to Q4 FY23.
