AAI and GNR to go against each other in Greater Noida Airport bidding process

The bidding process for the Greater Noida Airport has drawn the attention of the state-run Airports Authority of India (AAI) as well as that of the GNR group. The two entities are running the Delhi Airport in a joint venture and are now likely to bid against each other for the upcoming airport in Noida. 

Reportedly, although AAI is keen on participating in the bidding process and is also seeking consultations from the Civil Aviation Ministry, the GNR group led Delhi International Airport (DIAL) where AAI has a 26 per cent stake is against the idea of its partner as its rival bidder.
