Maison Sia launches its showroom in Mumbai

Brainchild of Vratika Gupta, Maison Sia is a pavilion of everything extraordinary transitioning persistently to bring objet d’art from brands and artists, globally. In its endeavour to present the finest from across the world to India, the brand has introduced a lavish display area in Raghuvanshi Mills, Mumbai. Sharing her thoughts on the Indian luxury markets, Vratika Gupta, Founder, Maison Sia, pointed out, “We often witness designers and homeowners flying down to Europe to source luxury, which means that there is a clear demand for exclusive luxury décor items in the Indian interior industry. The idea is to simply offer them the same here.” The brand’s standalone is to stay true to the notion of beauty reflected by the phases of the moon - undying and ever evolving, and every product on display is a testament to the same.

The brands and artists are hand-picked by Vratika while trotting the globe in the quest of the finest; many of these often create a very limited number of pieces like the One Minute Mickey by Marcel Wanders. The goal is to solve the limitation of access and availability of international artists and coveted European brands such as Leblon-delienne, Assouline, Guardarte, Pinetti and Giobagnara to create a unique buying experience. “I personally love works of Rina Menardi, Athena Jahantigh, FOS Ceramiche, who create some very distinct style of décor products,” adds Vratika. A variety of said expensive and delicate pieces will even be stocked here to offer same day delivery and prevent any odds of damage.

The launch celebration was set amidst soothing live jazz music and witnessed renowned HNIs and design professionals such as Boman Irani, Shobhan Kothari, Jimmy Mistry, Noorien Kapoor, Percy Sorabji Chowdhry, Ninad Tipnis, Ahsan Ansari, Rakesh Jeswani amongst many others.
